Mike Grimm

You might say Mike Grimm was born into the visual arts. Back in Wisconsin, his grandfather owned a photo studio where Mike spent many days learning about composition, lighting and visual storytelling.

Since 1979, Mike has put those talents to use on projects as varied as designing animated lighting for Venetian parade floats, programming 30-projector multimedia shows, and shooting hundreds of corporate, documentary and dramatic feature productions all over the world. He’s an award-winning cameraman, Steadicam owner/operator and video editor who deftly follows the action and brings back stunning results.

Mike has been editing with Final Cut Pro since 2003. He was the first in Pennsylvania to earn the Final Cut Pro HD Level II certification from Apple and also has Apple certifications in FCP5 and Motion 2. Because of his expertise and experience, he is often called upon to train even the most seasoned editors.
